An interview with Mark Blackburn, Art dealer extraordinaire!
Mark is one of those people who does so much that it’s hard to know where to even begin, over the years Mark has been a coin dealer, a rug dealer, a writer, a filmmaker, a scholar, an explorer, an explorers club chapter chair, a collector and of course an Art dealer!
Mark was gracious enough to agree to an interview over zoom where we talk about the various aspects of his professional life!
In addition to my interview, further down the page is an interview he did a while back with Dr. Mark Sublette from Medicine Man Gallery, one he did with Tribalmania’s Michael Auliso in 2009, an article written about him as a collector by Julia Porter Steele and After that there is a report of a lecture he gave to the Oceanic Art Society in Australia.
