I am very curious to know what the possible origins are of this weight. Once side has a stylised crocodile chiselled in it. One thought is that it is a weight used for a weaving loom of some sorts. The grove on the side, were a rope would comfortable fit into, shows (friction) traces which might indicate that it was no rope made out off fibres, but possibly made of leather.
Material : Granit?
Size : ca. 11 x 9 x 7cm
Weight : 818gr
