It is 2 heavy metal objects with holes on the base to mount on the floor or on the wall. It has been driving us crazy. Ty!

This site is more about identifying objects from non-western cultures... In this case, I have no idea! I would try and find someone who is specialized in architectural salvage ..maybe they know?
